I used to go to Brunei a bit and as a black woman you do get stared at but there is such a difference between people who are curious and people who are ignorant. Over there I only ever saw/met the curious type of people which i'm grateful for (obvs some ppl aren't fazed at all too). It's even kind of easy to stop noticing it after a while, when you know it's not malicious staring.

We are sorry that you get some trouble with airport security, I travel alot of countries as tourist, Some time i do get trouble from airport security and immigration. I think we must understand that thay are doing their job. When some time thay get suspected with traveller that do gave tough questions. Gladly at the end of the day security do welcome you.
